Evergreen Valley Christmas Tree Farm is Ready for Santa

Christmas Tree Farm Hosts Santa ClausDid you hear that Santa will be visiting Evergreen Valley Christmas Tree Farm this weekend?

His office assistant says that we are on his schedule of stops for Saturday and Sunday, November 24th & 25th.

Bring your camera to snap some great holiday pictures of the family choosing your favorite Christmas Tree! Perhaps a Norway Spruce or Douglas Fir and maybe you will get a shot with Santa in the background!

He may even have some treats for good girls and boys!  He is scheduled to arrive around 10 AM, so be on your best behavior – ’cause Santa Claus is coming to town!

Christmas Portraits at Evergreen Valley Christmas Tree Farm!!

camera-pictogram Would you like to have a Christmas or holiday portrait done this year? We have a really exciting activity planned for everyone at Evergreen Valley this season!!!

On the weekend of December 15 &16, a local photographer, Bill Brokaw, will be at Evergreen Valley to take family photos! I know many of you wait till closer to Christmas because you wait for your children to come home from college.

Wouldn’t that be a great time to get a family photo taken??  Bill is prepared to offer us a great price on a photo package and donate a portion of the proceeds to a local charity.  I will post more details as the event gets closer!  For now, mark your calendars for this fun event and bring the whole family.  What better place for a family Christmas  portrait that at a Christmas Tree Farm!!

Check out Bill’s work here.

Trees for Troops!

Our first big event this year will be Trees for Troops.  Many of you participated last year and we really appreciate your support of this great program.  In 2011, over 200 trees left Evergreen Valley for a base in Georgia.  We hope to be able to send that many again.  This year, T4T will be the SECOND weekend.  Beginning Friday, November 30th until Sunday, December 2nd, the FedEx truck is scheduled to be at out farm to gather donations. Please come out and support military families at this time of year.  We will all be celebrating, but many of them are worried about loved ones who are deployed or trying to make ends meet on a military salary.  A $30 donation will purchase a whole tree, but any donation will be accepted.   We will also be accepting donations during our opening weekend.  We can’t wait to see you!!
